General Foreman

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join an established civil engineering contractor on a large-scale construction project based in Perth. The role will focus on overseeing groundworks operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong civil engineering knowledge, a hands-on approach to site management, and the ability to lead site operatives while maintaining effective communication with the client and wider project team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freelance General Foreman to join a reputable contractor on a substantial project, with work available until the end of the year. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and coordinate day-to-day groundworks and civil engineering operations on site. - Take a hands-on approach to site activities, supporting the delivery of works where required. - Manage and supervise site operatives, ensuring productivity and work is completed to programme. -Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations. - Oversee works including drainage, reinforced concrete, road construction and hard landscaping. - Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant quality standards. - Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance on site. - Monitor progress against programme and identify any issues that may affect delivery. - Liaise ..... full job details .....
