General Foreman Civils

Danny Sullivan is looking for- a contractor that specialize in civil engineering is looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to join their expanding team to work on project in St Neots. Duties:-

• Ensuring works are carried out productively with the safety of others a high priority-
• Ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard-
• Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings-
• Ensuring safety is first and foremost -
• Plant and Labour reconciliations
• Communication with managers to ensure all site staff including Sub Contractors work safely
• Material reconciliations and produce regular reports -
• Management of staff
• Review method statements/risk assessments
• Liaise with all relevant sub-contractors

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Extensive and Wide Ranging Hands on Civil Engineering & Construction Skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• CSCS Black Card, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
• Full UK driving licence.
