Job Title: General ForemanLocation: SheffieldSalary - 50,000 - 55,000 + PackageRole As an experienced General Foreman, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards. This role will be working on a Highways framework in South Yorkshire. Requirements:For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;First AidGold / Black CSCS CardSMSTS / SSSTSFor this role it is essential that you hold the skills and experience below;Strong experience in Supervisory / Management roles on Highways packagesExperience as a General Foreman overseeing civils packages including roundabouts, 278 works, road drainage, surfacing, kerbsResponsibilities:Maintain health and safety standards on siteComplete toolbox talks and other briefings on siteProcurement of plant and material through the company platformManaging the work force, labour and subcontractors in the delivery of road and civils workAid in the completion of Safety Plans, RAMS and COSHHMaintain accurate site record keeping including diaries, allocations sheets, plants returns and goods received notesOversee subcontractors and ensure they are working to their own check sheetsLiaise with site operatives and subcontractors to ensure work stays on programmeEnsure that a Risk Assessment and Statement of Method (RAMS) and a Permit to Work system are in place before work commences Contacts to Apply: Damian Aston - Regional Manager - (phone number ..... full job details .....
