General Foreman

Be part of the project team delivering highway infrastructure schemes on behalf of Bristol City Council. This is an exciting opportunity for a General Foreman to join an established and expanding market leader, as they deliver projects involving remedial works to bridge structures, riverbank restoration and highway improvements on a 4-year framework. My client is a regional Civil Engineering contractor with a workforce of over 750 professionals and a turnover of over £120million. As General Foreman you will: Oversee daily site operations, supervising workforce and subcontractors to maintain productivity and performance Support the Project Manager, stepping in to lead where required Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safe systems of work Drive a right-first-time approach, ensuring quality standards are met and works are completed in line with specifications Assist with planning and coordination of labour, plant, and materials to meet programme requirements Monitor progress against programmes, helping ensure projects remain on track Our client requires a General Foreman with: Proven experience as a Foreman delivering highways and RC structures projects with values from £1million to over £10million Ability to monitor programmes, providing daily updates to the Project Manager SMSTS or SSSTS CSCS Card First Aid at Work TWS/TWC and NRSWA (desirable) Location: You will be site-based on projects across Bristol Salary: ..... full job details .....
