General Cover Staff – Teachers, LSAs, Instructors & Cover Supervisors – Birmingham

With the new academic year under-way , TeacherActive are inviting passionate education staff to  join us for exciting opportunities within secondary schools and FE colleges across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.

We are currently supporting a growing number of schools and are looking to recruit:

• Qualified Secondary Teachers

• Cover Supervisors

• Teaching Assistants / LSAs

• SEN Support Staff

• Instructors

Typical subjects and areas include:
English • Maths • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) • Humanities (History, Geography, RE) • Modern Foreign Languages • Design & Technology • Computing & ICT • Physical Education (PE) • Music, Drama & Art

The role:
Assignments will involve following lesson plans set by permanent staff, supporting pupils’ learning, and ensuring behaviour and disruption are kept to a minimum. A range of positions are available—day-to-day cover, short-term contracts, long-term placements, and permanent opportunities—so whether you’re seeking flexibility or consistency, we can help you find the right fit.

As a member of our team, you will need:

• At least 6 months’ classroom-based experience

• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

• Flexibility across subjects and key stages

• A genuine passion for education and making a difference
