General Counsel , you will be involved in a wide range of legal activities, including:Bringing private prosecutionsChallenging the Crown Prosecution Service when it fails to prosecute hate crimesSubjecting inadequate decisions by public bodies to judicial reviewSubmitting regulatory complaints and advising regulatory bodiesBringing and defending defamation casesWorking with pro-bono legal experts and external counselDrafting legal documents such as correspondence, internal policies, particulars of claim, and witness statementsSupervising compliance with charity and data protection lawsAssisting with employment and contract questionsWhat you bring:The ideal candidate will have:At least four years'' post-qualification experience as a solicitor or barristerExperience in fields such as crime (communications or public order), regulatory law (professional conduct or charity law), administrative law (judicial review), defamation, or equality and human rightsExperience working with senior legal teamsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize effectively and respond quickly under pressureMeticulous organizational skillsWhat''s next:If you''re ready to make a significant impact, apply now!Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 per annum + bonus and ..... full job details .....
