About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Damp and Mould Operative / Building Technician to join our Newbury, Thatcham and Reading team. This role involves carrying out damp and mould remediation works across residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring high-quality standards, compliance, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections to identify causes of damp and mould, including condensation, penetrating damp, and rising dampCarry out mould treatments using approved biocidal and antifungal solutionsPrepare and clean affected surfaces, ensuring safe and effective removal of contaminationUndertake reinstatement works such as painting, sealing, and basic repairsComplete internal decoration using mould-resistant primers and paintsCarry out general building works including repairs to brickwork, pointing, roofing, drainage and guttering where requiredIdentify and implement solutions to prevent recurrence, such as improving ventilation and moisture controlEnsure all work is completed in line with current building regulations and health and safety standardsManage workload effectively to meet target completion dates and service level agreementsMaintain clear records and provide updates on work ..... full job details .....
