General Assistant - Temp - School Torquay

We are currently recruiting Temporary Catering Assistants to join busy school catering teams around Torquay. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, hardworking, and passionate about working within school catering environments.

PLEASE NOTE: A DBS is not required for this role but is accepted if you have one.
Pay Rates: andpound;12.71-andpound;14.18, depending on experience and site.
Locations: Primary schools, secondary schools, and academies across Torquay and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
- Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
andnbsp;- Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
andnbsp;- Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)

- Ability to drive

- Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and organised approach
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude

- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 preferred but not essential)
