We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part time General Assistant to join our team based at John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough.Hours of Work - 24 per weekMonday Sunday - Various shifts between Mon-Sun 6-2/2-10/10-6/ 8-4 including Bank HolidaysPay £12.62 per hourTraining will be providedDBS is requiredAbout the role:The role of a General Assistant is to deliver general assistant services to the required standard and specification; providing the highest standards of service delivery and working practices.Key Responsibilities:Timely delivery of a full range of directly provided general assistant services to includeCollection and movement of patients to and from wardsDeliver linen to wards and removed spoiled linen to laundry/laundry store.Removal and storage of clinical and other household waste.Receipt, movement and storage of blood, specimens.Undertake a range of cleaning duties to include operating electrical floor cleaning equipment, steam cleaning equipment in line with the national cleaning specification.To ensure all grounds, car parks and gardens are clean and tidy.
