Berkeley Scott are currently recruiting DBS-checked General Assistants to join our busy agency team, supporting a range of clients across Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of environments including schools, care homes, and healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving meals and beverages
• Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and service areas
• Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
• Following food hygiene and safety standards
• Supporting the kitchen team with day-to-day duties

Requirements:

• Valid DBS certificate (essential)
• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment preferred
• Good understanding of food hygiene practices
• Up-to-date Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergy certificate
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
