General Assembler

Job Description: IRS Group is recruiting for a General Assembler to work in Smethwick. We are looking for an experienced General Assembler to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a part-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Pay and Benefits 12.71 per hour Part-time hours Temporary position Potential permanent opportunity Smethwick location Duties and Responsibilities Assemble products and components accurately and efficiently. Use hand tools and basic assembly equipment. Follow assembly instructions and procedures. Carry out quality checks on components and finished products. Identify and report any defects or issues. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Work as part of a team to meet production requirements. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Complete basic production paperwork when required. Assist with other production duties as required. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate must have previous assembly experience and be comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment. You will also need: Good attention to detail. Experience using hand tools. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Reliable and punctual. A strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
