GCSE tutor with SEN experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging one-to-one or small group tuition sessions tailored to students with SEN
• Support students in preparing for GCSE examinations
• Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Implement appropriate SEN support strategies to enhance learning and engagement
• Track and report on student progress
• Build confidence and motivation in learners

Requirements:

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE level
• Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Strong subject knowledge (please specify your subject specialism when applying)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in teaching approach
• Ability to plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
