GCSE tutor with SEN experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective GCSE tuition sessions (Maths, English, and/or Science)
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs and styles
• Support students in preparing for exams, including exam techniques and revision strategies
• Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or tutoring at GCSE level (Key Stage 4)
• Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject (Maths, English, or Science)
• Ability to build rapport, patience, and a supportive teaching approach
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience preferred
