GCSE tutor

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide one-to-one or small group tuition to GCSE students, helping them build confidence, strengthen subject understanding, and improve exam performance. Sessions will be tailored to individual learning needs and may take place after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective GCSE tuition sessions

• Assess students'' strengths and areas for improvement

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Support students with exam preparation and revision strategies

• Provide constructive feedback to help students progress

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum (experience in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Science is desirable)

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
