Job Title: GCSE Tutor
Location: City of Oxford
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: -30-35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths, English and/or Science (dependant on your speciality)
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEN needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.
- Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence in their GCSE''s.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Maths, English and/or Science.
- Experience working with SEN students.
- Teacher qualification such as QTS or PGCE.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learner needs.
