The Role

As a GCSE Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, one-to-one or small group tuition sessions.

  • Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science (additional subjects welcomed).

  • Assess students'' strengths and areas for development, creating personalised learning plans.

  • Prepare students for GCSE exams with structured revision strategies and exam technique guidance.

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and parents/carers where required.



Requirements

  • Previous experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK GCSE curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching approach.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
