You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace, resources and explanations to meet individual needs, while helping the learner build confidence and make positive progress towards their GCSE Physics studies.A tutor with an interest in or knowledge of Astronomy would be particularly beneficial, as this could help provide additional opportunities to engage the learner through their interests and make learning more accessible and enjoyable.Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement or challenging behaviour would also be highly desirable. The ability to create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment will be essential.This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.The role may involve:Providing personalised one-to-one GCSE Physics tuition.Supporting a secondary-aged learner with SEND.Covering the GCSE Physics curriculum, including relevant areas of mechanics, energy, electricity, waves, forces and radioactivity.Supporting Astronomy-related topics where appropriate and ..... full job details .....
