Prospero Teaching are recruiting a confident GCSE English Tutor to provide focused 1:1 support to a learner in St Helens.

The successful tutor will help develop subject knowledge, strengthen exam skills and encourage a positive attitude towards English.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised GCSE English tuition
Support reading, writing and comprehension skills
Assist with exam preparation and revision
Identify areas requiring additional support
Adapt resources to the learner''s level
Build confidence and encourage participation
Track progress throughout the placement

Requirements
Strong GCSE English subject knowledge
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience working with secondary-aged learners
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt sessions to individual needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
