Key Details:

• Subject Focus: GCSE English and Maths
• Student Profile: Year 12 male student with SEMH
• Location: Hayes/Uxbridge area
• Pay: -25-30 per hour, depending on experience
• Hours: Flexible, part-time to be agreed upon based on availability and student needs
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for GCSE English and Maths, focusing on building confidence and addressing gaps in understanding.
• Develop and implement personalized learning strategies that cater to the student''s individual needs and learning style.
• Build a positive, supportive rapport with the student, using a patient and empathetic approach to encourage progress.
• Monitor and track progress, adapting lesson plans as needed to ensure effective learning.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students who have SEMH or other learning difficulties.
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build a positive, trusting relationship with the student.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
