GCP Solution Architect

GCP Solution Architect My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a GCP Solution Architect for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol offering 3 days per week remote but requiring 2 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Cloud Solutions with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Expert-level hands-on experience with GCP data services including BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI, Advanced proficiency in dbt, Python, and SQL for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native data platforms and transformations, Strong expertise in ETL/ELT architecture, data pipeline development, data modelling, and data warehousing solutions, Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise data products, from architecture and design through implementation, deployment, and production support, Deep understanding of enterprise Data Architecture, including Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse, metadata, lineage, governance, and security frameworks, Extensive experience with Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, solution selection, integration, implementation, and enterprise data governance.
