Location: EdinburghSalary: 80,000 - 100,000Job Type: PermanentThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - API and GCP to join a growing technology team in Edinburgh.You will play a key role in shaping the architecture and strategic evolution of an API Marketplace platform, working closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for an architect with strong API, cloud-native and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to have a genuine influence on enterprise technology direction.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive architectural decisions across the API Marketplace platform.Define the strategic technology roadmap alongside product and engineering teams.Design scalable, secure and resilient cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform.Lead API architecture and promote best practices around API design, security, lifecycle management and integration.Provide technical leadership across architecture forums, governance and design reviews.Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technology solutions.Assess emerging technologies, including Generative AI, where they can add value.Ensure solutions meet key non-functional requirements including security, performance, resilience, scalability and sustainability.Influence strategic technology decisions and help shape the future direction of the platform.Essential Skills and ExperienceStrong experience working as a Solution ..... full job details .....
