As part of this journey, they''re looking for a Senior GCP Data Platform Engineer to take ownership of the infrastructure, automation and platform capabilities that underpin the wider Data Engineering function.This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who enjoys building, owning and evolving cloud platforms. You''ll have the autonomy to make decisions, drive technical improvements and deliver outcomes without requiring constant oversight, whilst working closely with Data Engineering and Platform teams.The environment is highly collaborative and pragmatic, with a strong focus on enabling teams through automation, self-service tooling and engineering best practice.What You''ll Be Doing Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure within GCP using Infrastructure as CodeOwn and evolve Terraform modules, deployment standards and platform patternsBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support data platform deliverySupport and optimise core GCP services used across the data estateImplement monitoring, alerting, logging and observability capabilitiesDefine and maintain secure IAM, access control and governance practicesDevelop reusable tools and ..... full job details .....
