GC-MS Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Analyst/ Analytical Chemist-to join a leading testing company in the South East.

The role:

As an Analytical Chemist you will carry out a range analysis using techniques such as GC and GC-MS.

-Duties include:

• Set up and run analytical instrumentation to test for a wide range of samples.
• Carry out GC and GC-MS analysis.
• Follow SOPs and ensure work is carried out to UKAS and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Perform GC instrument calibrations and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates will be degree qualified in a Chemistry subject and have laboratory experience as an Analytical Chemist/ Laboratory Analyst running GC or GC-MS analysis.
