Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Gates & Barriers Engineers based in Birmingham and the surrounding areas who are looking for a local position with a well-established company that genuinely invests in its engineers.

You''ll be working across commercial and residential sites throughout the local area, installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of automated gates, barriers and access control systems. • -40,000 - -45,000 basic salary (DOE)

• Installing, servicing and maintaining automatic gates and barrier systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Working on a variety of access control systems
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Ensuring all work complies with current safety regulations and industry standards
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with the engineering team to deliver projects efficiently
• Participating in the on-call rota to support customers when required

• Proven experience installing and servicing automatic gates and barrier systems
• Experience with access control systems is highly desirable
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A professional, customer-focused approach with pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK Driving Licence
