GATESMAN - SOLAR PV - SOLAR FARM - CONSTRUCTION UK - CONTRACT

Job Overview:
A renewable energy construction project requires a Gatesman to manage site access and ensure controlled entry and exit of personnel, visitors and vehicles. The role is essential to maintaining site security and ensuring all access procedures are followed throughout the construction phase of a Solar PV project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor all personnel and vehicle access at the site entrance.

• Ensure all workers and visitors are authorised and properly inducted before entering site.

• Maintain accurate records of site attendance and deliveries.

• Direct delivery vehicles and visitors to the appropriate site contact.

• Ensure compliance with site access procedures and safety requirements.

• Support the site management team with general site coordination.

• Monitor site perimeter access points to maintain site security.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Gatesman or Site Access Controller on construction projects.

• CSCS Card.

• Strong awareness of construction site safety procedures.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage site access efficiently in a busy construction environment.

• Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

• Duration: 12 months (with extension potential)

• Location: Cullompton, Devon - Site Based

• Start Date: ASAP
