Gateman

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Gateman/woman to oversee the entry and exit of vehicles and individuals at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a keen eye for maintenance, and excellent communication abilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing exceptional service to all visitors.

I need 2 people - 1 more days and 1 for nights

Days - 06:00am - 18:00pm - -16 an hour
Nights - 18:00pm - 06:00am -18 an hour

Duties

• Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring that only authorised personnel and vehicles are allowed entry.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain security standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide clear instructions and assistance to visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate records of all entries and exits, including vehicle details and visitor information.
• Collaborate with security personnel to implement safety protocols and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Operate company vehicles as required for site inspections or other duties, adhering to all traffic regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong maintenance skills with the ability to identify and address basic repairs.
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
