We are currently looking for an experienced Gateman for a job site in Uckfield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel on site

• Check identification and visitor credentials

• Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and site access

• Direct vehicles and deliveries to the appropriate areas

• Ensure site boundaries remain secure at all times

• Monitor site for safety or security issues and report as needed

• Maintain a tidy and professional gate area

• Liaise with site management and security teams

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance

• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices

• Ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure

• CSCS card

• Security or health and safety certifications are a plus
