This is ongoing locum post, minimum 3 months availability will be requiredThe post holder will provide a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy service, a high quality outpatient service, including patient administration and manage gastroenterology and medical in-patients on the gastroenterology ward.The post holders will be supported by a GI secretarial Team, will have an office and will have access to a PC with internet. The fixed weekly expectation is likely to include:3 outpatient clinics a week3 endoscopy sessionsDedicated PA’s will be allocated for SPAs.On-call activity is optional but available.No cross site involvedJAG accreditation and KPI’s will be required to apply for this roleFacilities and work of the departmentInpatient care is provided in a 30 bedded wardThe fully JAG accredited endoscopy unit provides both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and ERCP.The department has strong multidisciplinary links for cancer referrals and patients.Our Specialist Nurses lead a dedicated IBD serviceNegotiable pay terms, depending on ..... full job details .....
