Gas Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Job Title: Gas Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: West Yorkshire - Centre based Salary: up to £44,000 + OTE of up to £8k Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + Much More! Type: Full-time, Permanent Unqualified Assessors will undergo training and support to complete an Assessor Qualification Duties include: Deliver Gas Engineering Apprenticeships at Level 3, and relevant short courses, across practical and theoretical competencies. Delivery of Plumbing / Renewable Energy qualifications, if competent/qualified to do so. Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources. Carry out on site visits, to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training and workshop delivery. Organise and maintain documentation on learners'' progress. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner''s needs. Essential Criteria: Must hold a recognised Gas qualification, (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent) Must hold solid occupational experience in Gas Engineering and Heating systems. Ideally hold qualifications/experience in Renewable energy and/or Plumbing. Excellent communication skills. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
