Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Social Housing provider that is looking for a Gas Supervisor to oversee gas compliance for servicing and breakdowns, and ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.

A van and fuel card is provided.

Responsibilities of the Gas Supervisor:

• Supported a team of 12 gas engineers (servicing and breakdown)
• Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor for the organisation''s Gas Safe registration
• Ensuring all gas works are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations
• Approving certificates
• Carrying out technical audits and post-inspections of engineers'' work
• Investigating technical failures, incidents and non-compliance issue
• Providing technical guidance and support to gas engineers
• Ensuring engineers are working within their scope of competence and hold up to-date ACS qualification
• Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation
• Supporting the development and review of gas safety policies and procedures
• Working closely with Compliance and Property Services teams to ensure statutory targets are met
• Reporting on gas compliance performance to senior management

Essential criteria of the Gas Supervisor:

• Current ACS gas qualifications (relevant domestic competencies)
• Previous experience working within social housing or a landlord compliance environment
• Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience carrying out technical audits and inspections
• Full UK driving licence
