Gas Service Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Service Technician/Site Services Engineer to work for one of our clients in Burton on Trent. The client is a market-leading manufacturer of specialist equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering and aerospace. Due to the specialist nature of the products this Electrical Service Engineers role is both interesting and varied and will involve fault finding/fault rectification, carrying out gas repairs along with some electrical and basic mechanical repairs, and attending planned maintenance visits and breakdowns. As such the role will involve travel both in the UK and overseas In addition to the service and repair aspects of the role the work will also involve working on installation projects as and when required, together with testing and commissioning. This will also involve some surveying and estimating of materials needed and the creation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements The successful candidate for this Service Engineers role must be qualified in an gas discipline and have experience of working with the maintenance and installation of industrial gas systems. In addition applicants must have some electrical experience. along In addition, candidates must have some, if not all of the following:- Strong fault-finding skills.
