Service and Breakdown Engineer (ASHP) - Social Housing Manchester 40,000 per annum We are currently seeking an experienced Service and Breakdown Engineer to join a growing team delivering maintenance and repair services within the Social Housing sector across Manchester and surrounding areas. The Role You will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing heating systems within occupied social housing properties, with a strong focus on Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). The successful candidate will provide a high-quality service while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair Air Source Heat Pump systems. Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works. Complete all relevant paperwork and certification. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Deliver excellent customer service to tenants in occupied properties. Requirements Proven experience as a Service and Breakdown Engineer. Strong knowledge and experience working on Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). Experience within the Social Housing sector desirable. Relevant plumbing, heating or renewable qualifications. Full UK Driving Licence. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities.
