Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer

Birmingham / Oldbury 36,000 - 37,000 per annum (DOE) Company Van + Fuel Card Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 plus Call-Out Requirement with additional payment for call out Working on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Registered Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join a well-established social housing maintenance team covering Birmingham, Oldbury, and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, permanent position within the social housing sector, carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and breakdown maintenance in occupied residential properties. Key Responsibilities Carrying out landlord gas safety inspections (CP12s) Servicing domestic gas boilers and heating systems Diagnosing and repairing boiler and heating breakdowns Fault finding and resolving gas-related issues Completing repairs safely and efficiently to a high standard Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants'' homes Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe and health and safety regulations Requirements Current Gas Safe Registration ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 Previous experience in gas servicing and breakdowns Experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance environments preferred Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Full UK Driving Licence Professional and customer-focused approach What''s on Offer?
