Gas Engineer

At MSV Housing we re committed to making sure our customers have safe, warm and good quality homes, and our Gas Engineers are key to making this happen. We are looking to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer with strong technical and customer service skills to join our established team. Reporting to the Gas/Service Manager, our Gas Engineers provide a comprehensive service including annual gas servicing, breakdown diagnosis and repair, and installation of heating systems across our housing stock. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities. What do our Gas Engineers do; Install, service, and upgrade domestic heating systems in line with schedules, budgets, and regulatory standards. Diagnose and repair faults across heating and plumbing systems, ensuring high-quality and safe workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by liaising professionally with residents, managing appointments, and ensuring satisfaction on completion. Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe, HSE, and company policies, including issuing certification and maintaining accurate records. Support efficient service delivery by managing materials, maintaining tools and vehicles, contributing to team performance, and participating in out-of-hours emergency call-outs.
