Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for experienced Service & Repair gas engineers to work on a long-term contract covering South Staffordshire, including Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced gas engineer looking for consistent work volumes, competitive rates and the support of dedicated operational and technical teams.

The Role:

• Servicing and repairing domestic gas appliances within social housing properties
• Predominantly Vaillant and Worcester appliances, with some Ideal
• Majority of properties are houses, with some 3-storey flats
• Predominantly combi boilers
• Approximately 8 jobs per day
• Engineers must be on site for 8:00am and work until 4:30pm
• Additional work will be provided where required to maintain a full working day
• Dedicated support available to assist with access and diary efficiency
• Contract due to commence at the end of October

The Candidate:

• Gas Safe registered
• CCN1 and relevant domestic appliance qualifications
• Proven experience carrying out domestic servicing and repairs
• Previous social housing experience preferred
• Able to work independently and manage a busy daily workload
• Professional approach with good customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence

Rate:

• -250 per day
• Monday to Friday (part time can be accomodated)
• Consistent work available throughout the winter period
