Gas Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join a leading social housing contractor covering East Birmingham. This role involves the servicing of gas appliances and systems in residential settings. The Gas Engineer will ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• service gas appliances, including boilers, fires,-cookers, and heating systems
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of work performed and any recommendations for future maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• work alongside other trades if needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role
• Good experience within fire servicing as there are a lot on the contract
• Previous social housing experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members

Using your own van and tools

Job Type:-Sub contractor

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• heating: 5 years (required)
• social housing: 2-3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• ACS (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
