Domestic Gas Engineer Cornwall£42,000 Van Fuel CardBuild Recruitment are currently working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance and renewable energy services within the social housing sector, who are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to cover Cornwall.This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established company, offering job security, career progression and ongoing training.The RoleYou will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems across social housing properties in Cornwall.Your duties will include:Carrying out domestic gas servicing, repairs and breakdownsDiagnosing and rectifying faults efficientlyCompleting all work in line with Gas Safe regulationsOrdering parts and managing jobs through to completionUsing a PDA to update jobs and record completed workLiaising with tenants and clientsTaking part in the company call-out rotaEnsuring all work is completed safely and to a high standardRequirementsCurrent Gas Safe registrationACS qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1NVQ Level 2 or equivalentCity and Guilds Energy Efficiency qualificationPrevious domestic gas servicing and breakdown experienceExperience working on social housing or housing association contractsFull UK driving licenceA full DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.Benefits£42,000 salaryCompany van and fuel cardUp to £4,000 relocation assistanceBuy and sell annual ..... full job details .....
