Gas Combustion Engineer - Non Domestic for Amey. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Edinburgh/Borders with a standard 37.5 hour week.Position

Title: Gas Combustion Engineer - Non DomesticRequisition ID: 7864Location: Edinburgh/Borders area, on-site across multiple sites.Responsibilities

Routine and non-routine maintenance.Fault finding and identification of life-expired equipment.Work with gas appliances, boilers, heating plant, pumps and ventilation. Minor plumbing work as required.Check, repair and mend faults and life-expired equipment.Inspections and risk assessment.Minimise wastage and continually improve processes.Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and are compliant.This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.Occasionally you may be requested to undertake work outside of your role by your line manager.What we are looking for

Full driving licence.Relevant commercial gas qualifications including: COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1, CGGA1, CIGA1, CENWAT1.Proven experience carrying out service and breakdown on industrial/commercial boilers and appliances with strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.Plumbing experience is advantageous.Requirements

Commercial gas qualifications and Gas Safe registration are essential. You will be part of a team delivering a safe and warm environment for educational facilities across approximately 20 sites, working with about 18 engineers. A company van is provided.Benefits and culture
