Location: Upper Malone Road, BelfastContract: Temporary - 12 weeksHours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri)Pay: 14.35 p/h Job OverviewWe are currently recruiting 2 experienced Gardeners to support Belfast City Council''s Parks and Cemeteries Operational Services team. You will help maintain parks, playing fields, landscaped areas, and open spaces across the city.This is a hands-on, outdoor role involving a wide range of horticultural and grounds maintenance duties. Key DutiesGrass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, and turf careSweeping, raking, litter picking, and general site maintenanceSoil preparation, planting, and seasonal horticultural workUse of powered hand tools and light plant equipmentSports pitch maintenance (spiking, scarifying, marking out, etc.)Loading and moving equipment, plants, soil, and materialsBasic maintenance and cleaning of tools and machineryWorking safely in line with Health and Safety procedures What We''re Looking ForNVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture (or equivalent)PA1 and PA6 pesticide application certificatesAt least 1 year''s relevant horticulture/grounds maintenance experienceExperience dealing with the public in a face-to-face environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsGood understanding of Health and Safety practicesAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsApply now for a Quick start ..... full job details .....
