About the Role
Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a Gardener Driver to join their team based in Niddrie. This temporary, full-time role involves maintaining green spaces across Edinburgh, including residential areas, parks, schools, and community facilities. Working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:15, duties include grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance, landscaping, and operating gardening machinery. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, demonstrate excellent timekeeping, and work both independently and as part of a team. The position pays £14.51 per hour.

- Grass cutting and edging

- Maintenance of sports pitches and playing fields
- Seasonal grounds care and weed control
- Hedge trimming and shrub bed maintenance
- Landscaping
- Operating gardening machinery
- Dealing with members of the public
Essential Requirements:
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Excellent timekeeping
- Team player
- Ability to work independently
- Eye for detail
- Understanding of basic health and safety
