GARDENER / WOKING / UP TO £27,000 PER ANNUM

About the Gardener Role:
As a Gardener, you''ll be responsible for the year-round maintenance and upkeep of our grounds. You''ll use your skills to ensure the gardens are immaculate, promoting a tranquil and professional atmosphere at all times. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative and a caring approach.
Key Responsibilities of the Gardener:
- Perform a variety of gardening duties, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and weeding.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of memorial areas, ensuring they are always clean and presentable.
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain the crematorium''s peaceful environment.
- Maintain and clean gardening equipment and machinery.
- Help with the construction and maintenance of memorials.
- Keep all public areas, including car parks and entrances, clean and tidy.
About You:
You are a compassionate and physically capable individual with a passion for gardening. You''re comfortable with a physically demanding job that involves lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- You have experience using a range of horticultural machinery like ride-on and hand lawnmowers and hedge trimmers.
- You possess a solid knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
- You are a reliable team player who is willing to support your colleagues.
- You are flexible with your working hours to meet the needs of the business.

What We Offer:
- A permanent, full-time position with a salary of up to £27,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
- Working hours of 39 per week, with potential shifts between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- We''ll provide and pay for your FBCA Cremator Technician training and assessment, which is a requirement for this role.
Please note that there will be an initial three-week training period for this role that will take place at our Golders Green site. All travel fees or accommodation will be covered and arranged as necessary.
