Gardener

Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced Garden maintenance and aftercare soft landscaper who has a great passion for plants and outdoor spaces who is looking to work on incredible gardens to create new landscapes and developing existing landscapes. You will be working with designers, clients and a close – knit team.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining lawns, hedges, irrigation systems, terraces and pathways
• Caring and tendering to borders, meadows and orchards
• Finding the best form for pruning shrubs and tying in and training the climbers
• Involved in the development of the gardens
• Adding planting to our creating new borders and features
• Planting perennials, grasses, shrubs and trees
• Staking and anchoring
• Pruning and shaping
• Covering all aspects of gardening

Requirements

• You must be a highly motivated individual with an excellent, can-do attitude to your work.
• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.
• UK Driving License - Essential
• Level 2 or higher in Horticulture.
• 2 + years’ experience in similar role.
• Plant knowledge.
• Ideally hold a PA1/ PA6 spraying licence.
• Be able to keep to work schedules provided by the Maintenance & Aftercare Manager.
