Garden Machinery Technician

We are looking for a-Garden Machinery Technician-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

As the-Garden Machinery Technician,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Garden Machinery Technician,-will be responsible for:

• Carry out winter servicing and ad hoc repairs of petrol and battery-powered grounds maintenance machinery
• Service, maintain and repair gritting hoppers and associated equipment
• Fit vehicles with gritting wiring harnesses and ancillary equipment-
• Notify the Senior Mechanic of required consumables and parts and complete weekly timesheets-
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, take responsibility for your workstation, and manage your time effectively-

To be successful for this Garden Machinery Technician-role you must have:

• Passion for machinery and a willingness to learn and develop; industry related qualifications are desirable
• Ideally have an understanding of electronics
• Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good IT skills
• Commercial awareness and a flexible approach to work
• Full UK driving licence
