Ganger

We''re recruiting for an experienced Ganger to join one of the UK''s largest electricity transmission infrastructure programmes, delivering major National Grid upgrades across Suffolk, Essex and North East London.

Works are currently mobilising in Leiston, Suffolk, with further phases progressing across the wider programme. Successful candidates must therefore be willing to work across multiple project locations as required.

You''ll be responsible for supervising gangs carrying out earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, duct installation and associated heavy civils, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

• Supervising operatives and subcontractors.
• Coordinating daily work activities.
• Delivering site briefings.
• Ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained.
• Liaising with Engineers and Site Management.
• Managing labour, plant and materials.
• Supporting drainage, RC, ducting and general civils activities.

• Previous heavy civils or utilities experience.
• SSSTS preferred.
• CSCS Card.
• National Grid, highways, rail or utilities experience advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• -27.50 per hour CIS.
• Ongoing long-term programme.
