Ganger / Drainage Gang Leader

Our client, a prominent player in the water sector, is seeking an experienced Ganger / Drainage Gang Leader to join their team for two significant infrastructure projects at the Sizewell Link Road and Two Valley Bypass. This is a contract role with a long-term duration, starting from 8th June 2026, with engagement options under CIS (PAYE to be confirmed). The ideal candidate will be expected to oversee and work hands-on with drainage gangs to ensure the projects'' successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating a drainage gang on-site
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Planning daily works to meet programme requirements
• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
• Managing trench support systems and safe excavation practices
• Liaising with site management and engineers
• Completing basic records and daily briefings/toolbox talks

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Ganger, Foreman, or Working Supervisor
• Strong drainage and civils background
• CSCS (Gold or suitable supervisory card preferred)
• SMSTS / SSSTS essential
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Right to work in the UK
