Working with advanced melting and remelting technologies, you will play a key role in the production of high-integrity alloys used in demanding aerospace, defence, energy and industrial applications.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in heavy manufacturing, steel production, foundry, forging, melting, casting, or similar industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and support the operation of the specific furnaces used within the meltCarry out the safe overhead crane handling of electrodes, moulds, ingots and furnace crucibles.Prepare and load furnace charges in line with production specifications.Undertake charge preparation, charge mixing and furnace loading activities.Prepare crucibles and refractory materials for production campaigns.Assist with mould preparation, setting, stripping and associated processes.Load and unload large clamshell heat treatment furnaces.Complete general crane and forklift truck operations within the production facility.Conduct routine furnace cleaning activities.Maintain accurate production and quality documentation, including melt records.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality assurance procedures and customer requirements.Maintain excellent ..... full job details .....
