Furnace Operator / Melting Operative Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Furnace Operator to join our specialist melting team. Working with advanced melting and remelting technologies, you will play a key role in the production of high-integrity alloys used in demanding aerospace, defence, energy and industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in heavy manufacturing, steel production, foundry, forging, melting, casting, or similar industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Safely operate and support the operation of the specific furnaces used within the melt Carry out the safe overhead crane handling of electrodes, moulds, ingots and furnace crucibles.
