Job Title: Furnace OperatorLocation: CoventryPay Rate: 30.61 per hour via PAYEShift: 3 days on, 3 days off: 7am-7pm, 6-weeks of early shift. 3 nights on 3 nights off: 7pm -7am, 6-weeks of night shift.Contract Length: 6 MonthsWe are looking for a reliable and motivated Furnace Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-temperature furnaces, supporting manufacturing processes, and ensuring all production activities are completed safely and efficiently. This role would suit someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, or industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Furnace OperationsOperate and monitor high-temperature furnaces using DeltaV SCADA softwareSet up and manage the Steam Ejector System (SES)Carry out all furnace loading and unloading activitiesSupport the loading and unloading of carouselsPrepare CVI furnaces for loading, including removal and cleaning of graphite furnitureProduction and AssemblyDisassemble jigs and infiltration stacks, accurately recording serial numbersWeigh discs and record production data using SAP systemsBuild infiltration stacks in line with production specificationsManufacture carbon bungsAssemble jigs and support assembly operationsApply AO paint to machined discsAssist with clipping duties within the assembly areaAssist with shot blasting operationsAssist with laser part marking processesSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar positionAbility to ..... full job details .....
