Funeral Driver and Bearer

We are looking for a reliable and professional Funeral Driver Bearer to join our clients team across Luton and Bedford.- This role has excellent opportunities to develop-and grow within the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles, carrying out bearer duties with dignity and respect and potentially be the very first contact with the family/friends of the deceased.

The role is full time, 5 days per week.- Standard hours are 08:30 to 17:30.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely drive company vehicles.
• Carry out bearer duties during funerals and related services.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and respectful approach at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and well maintained.
• Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Professional appearance and excellent punctuality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, respectful, and discreet in sensitive situations.
