Fundraising Manager

Help turn local generosity into life-changing support for people when they need it most. At Braintree Area Foodbank, we believe no one in our community should have to face hunger or hardship alone. We provide emergency food and practical support to individuals and families in crisis, while working towards longer-term solutions to poverty. Over recent years, we have increasingly focused on providing more in-depth support, helping people maximise their income, address the challenges they face and create the conditions to move forward. Now, we are looking for a proactive and driven Fundraising Manager to help us build a sustainable future. Please note that interviews will take place on the 15th of October 2026. We will be actively shortlisting and so will get in touch as soon as possible about inviting you to interview. The role This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow our fundraising function. You will develop income from businesses, community organisations and individuals, building relationships that help turn local generosity into meaningful, long-term support. You will have the freedom to identify opportunities, develop new ideas and build fundraising activity from a relatively blank slate. While we already have an established base of supporters and fundraising materials, there is significant scope to develop new relationships, improve supporter engagement and create sustainable sources of unrestricted income.
